Anodizing is perhaps the most environmentally friendly surface treatment in the metallic surface finishing industry. The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, which heavily regulates solvent-based finishes, regards anodizing as an environmentally friendly process. 2Dye4 Anodizing uses only common, water-based chemicals that can be treated easily and create very limited byproducts. 2Dye4 is the only northern California anodizer to use an on-site state-of-the-art closed loop water reclamation system to recycle both water and liquid wastes.
Environmental Policy:
At 2Dye4 Anodizing, we are committed to a clean and safe environment, both in our shop and outside. We are a zero-discharge facility, with on-site water treatment and water recycling. Our goal is to continue to improve our processes, with the goal of minimizing waste, lowering power consumption, and increasing recycling. We voluntarily exceed regulatory requirements, and work in partnership with our city and county to be the best possible neighbors.
